Why and How to Drink More Water

Most people know they don’t drink enough water. Many people wake up and first thing in the morning drink their first cup of coffee and then their second and water isn’t really thought about until the second half of the day.
Humans are made up of between 50% to 60% of water and our blood is about 90% water - so as you can imagine, hydration is imperative to feeling and being your best. Water is what allows you to flush out daily toxins from the body.
How much water? Take your body weight in pounds and divide that number by 2 and that is how much water you should aim to have. (Ex. if you are 150 lbs → 75 oz would be a good starting point.

Now if you are anything like me and struggle to count the number of glasses or even bottles of water you drank in a day, try this. Get three 25 oz bottles and fill them up at the beginning of the day and make it your mission to finish all three.
